Dear Dari,
Many thanks for speaking with me earlier.
As I mentioned on the 'phone here are more details about the programme we are making and our request to use you artwork.
Yorkshire Television are making a one hour documentary for ITV1, challenging the taboo surrounding relationships between big women and their admirers. In this film we will be talking to the growing league of gentlemen who are realising that to cherish curves is nothing to be coy about. We aim to celebrate all that is beautiful about big through the eyes of the men who love big women and the women who love being big.
As I mentioned on the 'phone we are currently in the editing process, and my producer has asked me to find examples of BBW artwork for the programme. The artwork would be used in a montage as an illustration of the beauty of big women, and how often this is neglected in the media. These images would not be used in a derogatory way.
I have spoken to my producer, we could offer an end credit, for allowing us to use your work. Having checked I do not think we would be able to credit your website as this is against our television regulations, but we could credit you as the artist.
If you are happy with this, we would be particularly interested in using the images of your sculpture featuring BBW's. Having spoken to our technical advisor it seems that we would be able to make prints from the images on the website. If you are happy with allowing us to use the images I need you to send me a brief email saying that you give your permission for us to use the images within the programme.
Unfortunately the producer is currently in a meeting until quite late but I can check with her first thing tomorrow that she can write a letter for you, when she knows that the images will definitely be used.
I look forward to hearing your thoughts on this. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you would like more information.
Best wishes
Becky Sawle
